Our Transported After School Martial Arts Program is the answer to your child's after-school needs:

Transportation provided from local schools, even on half-days

Traditional Tae Kwon Do instruction has been proven to dramatically help improve school grades by helping children set goals, focus and discipline themselves, while building their confidence and self-esteem. We emphasize character and leadership development, especially caring and respect for others.

Full day program on most school days off, at no extra charge

Transported After School Martial Arts Program Schedule & Fees

2:30 - 4:30 p.m.	Buses pick up students in 1st grade through middle school. We transport from the following Fairfax County schools: Aldrin, Armstrong, Clearview, Coates, Crossfield, Dogwood, Dranesville, Floris, Forest Edge, Fox Mill, Herndon Elementery, Hunters Woods, Hutchinson, Lake Anne, McNair, Oak Hill, Sunrise Valley, Terraset, Langston Hughes Middle School , Rachel Carson MS. and Herndon MS. We also pick-up from some schools in Loudoun County and some private schools such as Edlin, Nysmith, St. Joseph's and Academy of Christian Education. Be sure to ask us if your school is not listed here. When children arrive at the Academy, they change into their TaeKwonDo uniforms, put away belongings in assigned cubbies and get ready for class. After they are ready for class and waiting for the other children to be picked up, children may wait for class in the following areas: (Parents should give directions about their expectations to their children.) QUIET STUDY ROOM: This room is supervised by qualified teachers. TaeKwonDo emphasizes strength in the body, knowledge in the brain and virtue (good character) in the heart. Therefore, Academy students must do well in their schoolwork to advance in rank. We teach and support this disciplineby making free study facilities available for all of our students and their families, including computers with carefully-regulated, high-speed internet access and Library with many reference materials and good reading books. WAITING ROOM (TaeKwonDo Community Family Room): Snacks from home or from vending machine may be eaten here. Board Games, PingPong, Air Hockey, Legos, Video Games and Art supplies are available while waiting. TKD TRAINING ROOM: Fitness and coordination-building activities are organized and supervised by TKD masters prior to the start of formal class.
4:30 - 5:20 p.m.	Tae Kwon Do Class for all children who are in the Academy by 4:15
5:30 - 6:20 p.m.	Possible alternate TaeKwonDo class time for later dismissal/arrival schools. Kiss & Ride for all Academy students from 5:30 - 5:45 & 6:30 - 6:45
On early dismissal days, such as Mondays in Fairfax Co. and on Teacher Workdays, there will be extended instruction at no extra charge. Our buses will pick the children up early. Training activities will be expanded in order make good use of the extra time. For example, there will be special lessons in what it means to be a martial artist, emphasizing the development of proper etiquette and good character (see our character education flyer) and special trainings in topics such as coordination, confidence, concentration etc. Try not to miss these days! They can be very valuable for your child's development in TaeKwonDo. The price of After School TaeKwonDo with transportation from your child's school is just $114/week and includes extended day prograns.
