The Little K-Tiger Demo Team is Coming to
H.K. Lee Academy of TaeKwonDo!

The world famous Little Korean Tiger (K-Tiger) demonstration team is visiting Washington DC from 02/20/12 to 02/26/12. They will be giving an exciting demonstration for our students and the local community on February 25th at 4:30pm at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas. For more information about hosting a team member during their stay, contact Master Go or Master Yang.

Parents, Please Note These Important
Kiss & Ride / Parking Lot Guidelines

PARKING LOT

• Please park between the lines
• Please pull completely into the parking space, but not beyond
• Please follow all directional arrows and signs
• Please park motorcycles in the two designated motorcycle parking spaces
• Please do not leave parked car unattended in the fire lane.
• Please report parking concerns to the front desk

KISS & RIDE

Enjoy our Kiss & Ride to quickly drop off and pick up your family.

• Monday through Friday, 5:30 pm to 5:45 pm and 6:30 pm to 6:45 pm
• If you need to pick up your child early, please notify us before noon. (We’ll have them watch class. Taking a child out of class is disruptive. If you arrive early, please be patient and wait for class to end.)
• Drive Cautiously (People will be crossing to get to their vehicles.)
• Follow the blue line to the front of Kiss and Ride. (If you come early, you can stay with your car in the line but stay over the blue line to allow traffic in the opposite direction to pass…or park and come on in.)
• Stop your vehicle close to the curb and as far forward as reasonable. (To allow for vehicles passing in the opposite direction)
• No reverse in the Kiss & Ride loading/unloading zone. (This may be extremely dangerous as other children are escorted to vehicles behind you.)
• Be kind to the staff as they work hard for your safety and timely pickup/dropoff.

Farewell to Master Rosenberry, One of our Most Loyal and Dedicated Students

Master William B. Rosenberry, 5th Dan;
b. June 30, 1957 - d. March 15, 2011
Rest in Peace, with much love from your TaeKwonDo family.

**A teacher affects eternity; he can never know where his influence ends** Last night Master William Rosenberry, 5th Dan, suddenly passed away. He was our longest continuously active student (ID #1-00008!) Every student of this academy is deeply indebted to his legacy. He was a teacher of many of those who have taught you, and one of the most caring people we have known. He will be missed more than we can express.

To all of our dear friends at HK Lee TKD,

Viewing: Friday, March 18th from 7 - 9 pm.

Funeral: Saturday, March 19th at 11 am.

Location: Both the Viewing and Funeral will be at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home in Berryville, VA.

The burial will take place directly after the funeral at Green Hill Cemetery in Berryville. After the burial there will be a reception at the John Enders Fire Hall in Berryville (all are within 2 miles of each other). The funeral home has a website with directions. On behalf of the Rosenberry & Lewis families thank you for your caring in this horrible horrible time.

2010 SaBooNim's Nepal Trip

Grandmaster H.K.Lee traveled to Nepal as an honored guest for the 13th International TaeKwonDo Championship, December 11th and 12th. Grandmaster H.K.Lee visited with the generous and happy people of Nepal in their homes and place of work, visiting their Natural Wonders and historic sites.
